Are you here for an experienced RMT treatment?
Ready to start?
I am a skilled registered massage therapist with over 18 years of experience. I offer myofascial release, Swedish massage, and running injury rehab.
With that said…
Let’s have a chat.
You won’t find a “recipe” treatment here. I will tailor a specific treatment that meets your needs. As a manual therapist, it is important to me that each treatment meets the specific needs of each person
Your history matters. There will be history taking and some movement and tissue assessment. RMT massage practitioners need this information to serve you better.
I take the time to hear your concerns. Whether you are here for myofascial release, running injury rehab, a relaxation massage, or to learn some stress relief techniques. I will give you the time you need and won’t rush you through your assessment and treatment.
Your goals for treatment matter to me.
To get the best treatment from your RMT massage practitioner, I need to know your treatment goals. I can better serve you when I know your goals. I hope you find freedom of movement and relief from pain.
What do you want out of this session?
Now that we’ve had our chat, we have an idea of what might be going on for you in your body and your mind.
I will suggest a treatment plan that will aim to bring relief to the painful areas and spots that may be causing you discomfort.
Once you agree with the treatment plan we will start. Remember…
You’re always in charge!
Did you know that you can always remove consent at any time during treatment? I believe you need to know that.
Working with you so you feel great.
As a registered massage therapist, I'll work with you to meet your needs during your treatment. Whether that’s hanging out on a spot for a little longer while your tissue softens or adding more or less pressure.
After your RMT massage, we will go over some home care exercises, stretching, or activity changes to keep those delightful post-massage vibes going until your next visit.
Do you need a follow-up plan?
I want you to have the best opportunity to reach your goals and ease your pain.
I find that a treatment plan consisting of 3 appointments spaced approximately 7-10 days apart works best for many new clients. Would that work for you?
Continuing care.
We are committed to helping you feel more at ease in your body.
If, after your initial three appointments your symptoms haven’t eased we will continue investigating. We will do a reassessment to help give us more information and a better understanding of your condition.
If you are happy with where your recovery is then…
Feel free to come visit us on an as-needed basis. Part of a balanced lifestyle is to maintain the physical body at its optimal pace.
